Stock Market Crash Alert: 3 Must-Buy Dow Stocks When Prices Plunge

The Dow Jones Industrial Average has been around since 1885. The index contains 30 stocks and has regularly added and removed holdings from the list. An index with 30 stocks has more concentration than indices like the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100, which spread their assets across more holdings. However, some Dow stocks to buy are better than others. Investors must decipher which ones make the most sense for their portfolios before investing. Making these decisions before a sharp correction or crash is especially useful. Knowing what you want can prepare you better when stocks go on the discount aisle. Microsoft (MSFT) Source: The Art of Pics / Shutterstock.com Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT ) is the world’s most valuable publicly traded corporation. Its market cap dwarfs $3 trillion, and investors can get in at a 35 P/E ratio. The stock is slightly down from its all-time high, but a good earnings report suggests plenty of gains for long-term investors. The tech giant announced 17% year-over-year revenue growth and 20% year-over-year net income growth in Q3 FY24 .

3 No-Hassle Blue-Chip Stocks to Buy at Bargain Prices

The average investor probably appreciates no-hassle investments more than anything else. Most investors simply want to set it and forget it when it comes to their portfolio. Far fewer investors are willing or capable of spending their time tethered to trading stations in an attempt to find Alpha. That’s part of the reason blue-chip stocks are such a strong investment to buy. They’re generally hassle-free and can be reasonably expected to grow consistently over the long term. That’s what happens to firms that have established leading positions in their respective industries and sectors. They tend to benefit from the stability that naturally flows from their dominant positions. In short, investing in any of these blue-chip stocks to buy will likely lead to long-term gains and minimal headaches. American Express (AXP) Source: First Class Photography / Shutterstock.com American Express (NYSE: AXP ) is an excellent example of a blue-chip stock that is likely to provide long-term gains and minimal headaches.

Circle’s USDC Takes the Lead in Stablecoin Transactions

The post Circle’s USDC Takes the Lead in Stablecoin Transactions appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com . Visa’s data shows Circle’s USDC surpassing Tether’s USDT in transaction volume since the start of 2024. USDC transacted $456 billion over the past week, capturing 50% of total stablecoin transactions YTD. Despite Tether’s dominance in circulation, USDC’s rise suggests a shifting preference. According to data from on-chain analytics provider Visa Inc., Circle’s USDC transaction volume has surpassed Tether’s USDT since the beginning of 2024. The latest figures reveal that Circle’s USDC has steadily gained market share year-to-date (YTD). Over the past week, USDC transacted $456 billion in volume, compared to Tether’s USDT recorded $89 billion. In addition, USDC accounted for 50% of total stablecoin transactions YTD. Notwithstanding, “Visa, which partnered with Circle in 2020, didn’t explain what prompted the uptick in USDC usage,” Bloomberg reported. The news outlet further noted that these statistics “defy expectations,” as Tether’s USDT has traditionally been viewed as the dominant industry stablecoin.

3 Secret Warren Buffett Stocks You Haven’t Heard of for Multibagger Gains

You may have heard whispers that Warren Buffett has a secret portfolio outside of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK-A , NYSE: BRK-B ). This lesser-known holding company is called New England Asset Management, where Buffett oversees a relatively small but intriguing collection of investments. While the assets under management here pale compared to Berkshire’s empire, this secretive portfolio contains some fascinating stock picks with breakout potential. New England Asset Management holds mostly ETFs and defensive positions currently, which makes sense given the uncertainty in the market. However, Buffett has tucked away shares of several beaten-down companies that could deliver multibagger returns once conditions improve. Most of these stocks have limited downside but ample room for upside. Let’s take a look at these secret Warren Buffett stocks! PayPal (PYPL) Source: Tada Images / Shutterstock.com PayPal (NASDAQ: PYPL ) is one of my favorite stocks in the current environment. Despite the company’s negative user growth , PayPal remains a solidly profitable cash cow with steady revenue growth of around 8% annually.
