About BlackRock Enhanced Global Dividend Trust, ETF

BlackRock Enhanced Global Dividend Trust (the Trust) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust's primary investment objective is to provide current income and current gains, with a secondary investment objective of long-term capital appreciation. The Trust seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing primarily in equity securities of companies engaged in the energy and natural resources business and equity derivatives with exposure to the energy and natural resources industry. It invests approximately 80% of its total assets in dividend-paying equities and may invest 20% of its total assets in equity securities of issuers that do not pay dividends. The Trust invests in such securities or synthetically through the use of derivatives. The Trust may invest in securities of companies of any market capitalization but intends to invest primarily in securities of large capitalization companies. The Trust's investment adviser is BlackRock Advisors, LLC. more
