Not every private market deal on Vested is open to all investors. This is an important detail to understand before getting excited about a specific opportunity.
Some deals are open to any fully onboarded Vested user with sufficient funds. Others are restricted to what US regulations define as a Qualified Purchaser. A Qualified Purchaser is an individual who owns at least Rs. 45 crore in investments, including stocks, bonds, funds, and partnership interests, excluding your primary residence and personal assets.
The OpenAI deal we listed is a good example of why this distinction matters. OpenAI is one of the most sought-after private companies in the world. The deal terms reflected that. The price per share was $200 without fees.
With an 8% one-time management fee, the effective per unit price came to $220.74. The company valuation at the time was $583 billion. To participate, investors had to qualify as Qualified Purchasers under the US Investment Company Act of 1940.
Not all deals carry such requirements. We have also listed opportunities in companies like Perplexity, Stripe, and SpaceX, each with its own terms, minimums, and eligibility criteria. The details of every deal are visible on the deal page before you commit to anything.

The minimum investment across private market deals is $10,000, which is approximately ₹900,000.
