We at Vested love solving problems, especially ones that few others have solved before. In 2019, we stumbled upon one such problem: Indians were consumers of global brands but were not able to become investors in them. We wanted to change that. When we started, it took 5 days to open a US brokerage account, transfer funds and invest in a US stock. Today, you can open an account instantly, transfer funds within a day, and start investing within hours.
As we worked on connecting Indian investors to global markets, we realized a deeper need among our customers — the need for broader global diversification. Our customers loved the ability to invest internationally, not just for returns, but for stability, exposure, and long-term wealth creation. That led us to our next challenge: how do we make global investing — across geographies, asset classes, and strategies — accessible and seamless? Just like we simplified US investing, we are now focused on building the most comprehensive global investing platform for Indian investors.
What truly sets us apart is our team and the culture we have been able to nurture. We are a bunch of individuals with diverse expertise and backgrounds, bound together by a shared passion for innovation and a desire to revolutionize how people invest globally. We value collaboration, creativity, and excellence. This reflects not just in our products but in the way we interact with our customers and even with each other.

Started Vested in 2019 while doing my MBA at U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. Before Vested, I was an investment banker at J.P. Morgan and I briefly worked at fintech, analytics and AI startups.

I graduated from Kendriya Vidyalaya and Pune University, initially aspiring to join the Indian Army. However, my career path led me to become a finance professional. Over three decades, I’ve held diverse positions with reputable companies such as Finolex Cables, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, National Semiconductor, Ricoh, and Zebpay.
As an angel investor, I’ve been involved in 17 start-ups with two successful exits. Notably, I invested in Vested before formally joining the company.
Qualified as a CA, MBA, and CPA, I’ve now taken on a role at Vested to write the next chapter of my professional story.

Having undergone three years of rigorous NCC training and successfully clearing the CDS entrance exam, I stood on the brink of joining the ranks of the Indian Army though destiny made me a tough soldier finance professional!
I have been working in Compliance for the last 22 years , as a Chief Compliance Officer for the last 14 years, and 26 years in the financial industry. I have worked with many different types of financial firms such as online trading firms, major institutional money managers, retail and financial institution broker/dealers.
I usually just say that I am like the “internal affairs” officer for the firm making sure the company is taking care of its clients in the right way.
I didn’t! I was a Criminal Justice major at University. I was interviewing with US Government law enforcement agencies but there was very few hirings going on at that time and ended up taking a customer service position at E*Trade Securities in their early stage, around 400 employees, and when I left 5 years later, the company had over 2000 employees!
I was a ranked junior tennis player in the southwest United States region and played tennis for my University team on partial scholarship.
Joined Vested as a founding member in 2019, leading Business & Strategy here. Prior to Vested, I set up a consumer durables business and worked as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan. I come from a Commerce background and hold an MBA degree from IIFT Delhi
