Calamos Global Dynamic Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to generate a high level of current income with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. The Fund, under normal circumstances, invests primarily in a globally diversified portfolio of convertible instruments, common and preferred stocks, and income-producing securities such as investment grade and below investment grade (high yield/high risk) debt securities. The Fund, under normal circumstances, invests at least 40% of its managed assets in securities of foreign issuers in developed and emerging markets, including debt and equity securities of corporate issuers and debt securities of government issuers, unless market conditions are not deemed favorable by the Adviser, in which case the Fund invests at least 30% of its net assets in securities of foreign issuers.
