PGIM Short Duration High Yield Opportunities Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's objective is to provide a total return, through a combination of current income and capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of high yield fixed income instruments that are rated below investment grade or considered by the Subadviser to be of comparable quality. Under normal market conditions, at least 80% of the Fund’s investable assets are invested in a portfolio of global high yield fixed income instruments with varying maturities and other investments (including derivatives) with similar economic characteristics. Under normal market conditions, the Fund may invest up to 20% of its investable assets in United States currency denominated and/or foreign currency denominated fixed income instruments issued by foreign issuers.
