The Swiss Helvetia Fund, Inc., formerly Total Return Securities Fund, is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is long-term total return. The Fund invests primarily by purchasing United States securities or other assets that, in the opinion of the Fund’s investment adviser, are undervalued at the time of purchase and have the potential for growth and/or where the perceived discount from their intrinsic value is likely to narrow over time. The Fund also invests in various industries, including banking, financial services, food and beverage, healthcare, real estate management and development, retail, and oil, gas and consumable fuels industries.
