Voya Global Equity Dividend and Premium Opportunity Fund (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The primary investment objective of the Fund is to provide investors with a high level of income from a portfolio of global common stocks with historically attractive dividend yields and premiums from call option writing. The Fund's secondary investment objective is capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the Fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in a portfolio of common stocks of dividend paying companies located throughout the world, including the United States. The Fund may also invest in derivatives and other synthetic instruments and other investment companies, including exchange traded funds (ETFs). It has a portfolio of investments across various sectors, including financials, industrials, health care, consumer staples, energy, and materials, among others.
