BlackRock MuniHoldings New York Quality Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is to provide shareholders with current income exempt from federal income tax and New York State and New York City personal income taxes. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its assets in municipal obligations, the interest on which, in the opinion of bond counsel to the issuer, is exempt from federal income tax and New York State and New York City personal income taxes (New York Municipal Bonds), except at times when BlackRock Advisors, LLC considers that New York Municipal Bonds of sufficient quantity and quality are unavailable at suitable prices. It may invest directly in securities or synthetically through the use of derivatives. It intends to invest primarily in long-term Municipal Bonds with maturities of more than ten years.
