BlackRock MuniHoldings California Quality Fund, Inc. (the Trust) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust’s investment objective is to provide shareholders with current income exempt from the United States federal income taxes and California personal income taxes. It seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in municipal obligations exempt from the United States federal income taxes and California personal income taxes. Under normal market conditions, it invests at least 80% of its assets in investment grade municipal obligations with remaining maturities of one year or more at the time of investment. It may invest up to 20% of its managed assets in securities that are rated below investment grade or are considered by the Trust’s investment adviser to be of comparable quality at the time of purchase.
