PIMCO Income Strategy Fund II is a closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek high current income, consistent with the preservation of capital. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by utilizing a dynamic asset allocation strategy that focuses on duration management, credit quality analysis, risk management techniques and broad diversification among issuers, industries and sectors. The Fund normally invests in a diversified portfolio of floating and/or fixed rate debt instruments. The Fund is focused on seeking income generating investment ideas across multiple fixed income sectors, with an emphasis on seeking opportunities in developed and emerging global credit markets. The Fund invests in various sectors, including wirelines, technology, healthcare, aerospace/defense, consumer products, automotive, media cable, and media noncable: broadcasting.
