Invesco Bond Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek interest income while conserving capital. The Fund invests at least 80% of its total assets in debt securities rated, at the time of purchase, in one of the four highest categories by Moody's Ratings, S&P Global Ratings or Fitch Ratings, Inc.; securities of, or guaranteed by, the United States government or any agency of the United States government; and commercial paper rated prime, or cash and cash equivalents. The Fund invests primarily in fixed-rate United States investment grade corporate bonds and may invest up to 20% of its total assets in non-investment grade, United States dollar-denominated and non-United States dollar-denominated securities of foreign issuers (in both developed and emerging markets).
